KEEP IN MIND THAT YOU DO NOT NEED TO RESIDE IN THE SAME STATE OF THE DOG YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ADOPTING - UNLESS THE DOG IS UNALTERED, IN WHICH CASES THE DOG CAN ONLY BE ADOPTED OUT INTO A HOME WITHIN 50 MILES
OF A STATE COORDINATOR. THIS IS CALLED OUR "FOSTER TO ADOPT" PROGRAM" (see below)*.
~*~
Note that the adoption donation range for our little ones range from $200 - $300.
This helps with the vet bills that were incurred, and their upkeep during their stay in the rescue.
Be assured that all of our dogs are up to date with all veterinary care prior to you taking them home, and
this donation is simply to cover part of their costs while in rescue.

Veteran is not available for adoption at this time; he will be healing and recouperating
for the next 6-8 weeks. Please take a look at our other dogs that need a forever
home. They all need someone just as bad as Veteran does....

*OUR FOSTER TO ADOPT PROGRAM:

True Heart's Foster-to-Adopt Program was created to place unaltered puppies into approved forever homes in a foster situation prior to adoption. The Foster-to-Adopt Program allows approved applicants to take an unaltered puppy into their home until the animal is old enough or healthy enough to be spay/neutered by the rescue's approved veterinarian. If the Foster-to-Adopt family is accepted, they will foster the dog until it is altered, then the adoption contract will be finalized. If the Foster-to-Adopt family decides not to adopt, they must still provide foster care until the best forever home has been found for their foster dog(s).
